Description & Requirements
If you’re tired of working in isolated systems and want real ownership, this role is for you. As a Senior Accountant at Accountably, you won’t just maintain ledgers – you’ll work directly with U.S.-based CPA firms, lead month-end processes, and help elevate the accounting standards for multiple clients.
At Accountably, we don’t treat you like offshore support – you are the core team. Our values prioritize accuracy, accountability, and proactive thinking. We empower our accountants to speak up, lead processes, and become indispensable to our U.S. partners.
You’ll be responsible for full-cycle accounting for clients of U.S.-based CPA firms. From reconciliations and general ledger management to financial reporting and month-end closings, you’ll be the go-to person for delivering clear, accurate numbers that clients can trust.
You will:
- Manage daily accounting operations including A/R, A/P, and GL
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Perform reconciliations across banks, credit cards, and payroll
- Work on accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and Xero
- Collaborate with U.S. clients on budgets, reports, and forecasts
- Support junior team members with guidance and quality checks
- Help streamline processes and suggest improvements
What we’re looking for:
- 5–7 years of U.S. accounting experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end closing cycles
- Hands-on experience with U.S. accounting platforms
- A sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset
- Excellent communication skills
This is a key role – one that sets the standard for quality, trust, and reliability within the client’s business.
We’re not looking for perfect – we’re looking for people who care and think creatively.
