Jugal Thacker
Jugal Thacker is the founder and CEO of Accountably, which helps US CPA, EA, and accounting firms hire trained accountants and tax preparers in India. He is a Washington-licensed CPA with 7+ years inside US firms – PwC, a real-estate tax practice, then a full-service firm, rising from reviewer to manager to advisory.
His areas of expertise include building offshore teams for CPA firms, process design and workflow automation, and scaling a firm’s capacity without compromising quality. He has worked hands-on with books, tax returns, and reconciliations, line by line, and knows what a partner needs to see before trusting an offshore preparer with a return. He built Accountably as an accountant who learned staffing, not a staffer who learned accounting.
He holds the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CA (Chartered Accountant) credentials. Outside of work, he enjoys mentoring young professionals.
